ABOUT

The Hall was built in 1987 in memory of Ron Dawson. Ron was a keen supporter of local sports, particularly football. He also organised trips for local youngsters to support his favourites, Nottingham Forest. Following his death, many in the village decided to build the hall in his memory, and for many years local teams played on the pitch. In later years organised football has stopped at the field but it is still used by local kids for a kick about.
